Join a team recognized for leadership, innovation and diversityWe are seeking an Engineering Hardware Coordinator to join our engineering team and contribute to the future of Honeywell products. In this role, you will work closely with engineering leadership to manage data collection and processing, document product specifications and processes, and create technical illustrations.
You will also be responsible for coordinating project planning and scheduling, acting as a liaison between engineering groups, and providing data reporting for both internal and external customers. The ideal candidate will have experience in supply chain management and possess strong organizational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Load SAP demand and create purchase requisitions.
- Assist in the creation and review of request for quotes (RFQs) and follow up to obtain supplier quotations.
- Assist in supplier contract negotiations.
- Assist in the creation and review of purchase orders (POs).
- Write sole source justifications and obtain engineering estimates.
- Assist in determining should cost analysis.
- Maintain documentation and tracking records to show progress and update project schedules/milestones.
- Complete research and development to identify viable sources of supply within Honeywells approved source list (ASL) for new parts.
- Assist with classification of documents and Technical Data Package (TDP) submittals to suppliers using digital data portal.
- Coordinate new part set-up in SAP, including make vs. buy determination, material master creation, and bill of materials (BOMs) accuracy checks.
- Follow and audit the physical progress of engineering development hardware through the manufacturing process.
- Coordinate and prepare documentation required for qualification hardware conformity.
- Participate in physical inventory and property management of government-owned hardware and tooling.
- Assist in generating costed bill of materials.

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, the candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.
MUST HAVES
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience in supply chain management.
WE VALUE
- Associates or Technical degree or 4 years of military experience.
- Experience with SAP.
- Proficiency in MS Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio.
