Description:We are seeking a Engineering Technician with experience in Small Unmanned Air Systems (sUAS) to assist our engineering team. We are a multi-disciplinary group with mechanical, electrical, software and systems engineering expertise. We are looking for a candidate who will enthusiastically assist our engineering team as we develop and improve our sUAS products and solutions.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year professional experience as Engineering, Electronics, or Mechatronics Technician.

- Demonstrated ability to perform technical tasks.
Desired Skills:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent training in engineering, electronics, mechatronics, or related discipline
- 3 years professional experience
- Part 107 qualified sUAS pilot
- Experience flying, building, and repairing sUAS products
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with soldering, using lab equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies and calipers), and crimping wire leads and building wiring harnesses
- Experience reading mechanical and electrical technical documentation such as assembly drawings and schematics
- Experience assembling mechanical hardware to specification
- Desire to learn new skills and proactively contribute to the engineering team

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
