HOURLY PAY RATE: $28.50 - $42.40

SUMMARY:

Provides administrative and technical support to both product and process engineering activities as required under direction of the Engineering Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Use of measuring instruments, personal computer, processing equipment, and recording data involves coordination of manual dexterity with normal mental and visual attentions.
  • Performs diversified physical testing and checking some analysis of raw and or finished materials and other duties involving an intensive knowledge of a restricted field requiring the use of judgment in the analysis of facts surrounding individual problems to determine appropriate action to be taken, within limits of standard practice.
  • Manage production and engineering data; gather information, analyze data, and distribute results in the form of graphs and reports.
  • Shell room robot programming and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with production operators, supervisors, quality, and engineers to update work instructions.
  • Work with Product Engineers to create tech cards and loading into Innovator.
  • Perform audits on manufacturing and engineering processes.
  • Collect and manage data on engineering development parts including the tracking of parts through the shop floor and providing status updates to team.
  • Analyze and evaluate various pieces of processing equipment of measuring instruments for accuracy of controls and measurements; make recommendations for improvements.
  • Set up controlled experiments as directed and follow the work through the plant to evaluate a process change or improvement.
  • Assist engineers with the analysis of scrap of rework data.
  • Maintain all related records and files, prepare periodic or special reports.
  • Perform associated or other duties necessary to accomplish job objectives in an effective manner.

SECONDARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Must comply with all applicable safety requirements, policies, and procedures, while maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly work environment.
  • Must participate in required training, medical monitoring, safety, and health evaluations and programs.
  • Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in all designated areas of facility.
  • Perform all physical functions of position, standing, stooping, bending, sitting, walking, twisting, kneeling, turning and lifting of materials up to 35 lbs.
  • Meet established attendance standards.
  • Work overtime as needed.
  • Must report any work-related injury or illness immediately to your direct supervisor.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Associate Degree in Engineering or equivalent field preferred.
  • 2-5 years’ experience in an administrative support role.
  • Must be proficient in Excel and computer savvy.

This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)). To be qualified to work in this facility, a successful applicant must be a U.S. Person, as defined in those regulations, and able to supply evidence of that qualification prior to starting work or be authorized to receive controlled information under a specific license or permission from the relevant government agency.
