Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the end-to-end process of equipment procurement, ensuring specifications align with project and operational requirements.
• Oversee the installation and commissioning of equipment, ensuring adherence to project timelines, safety standards, and quality benchspans.
• Act as the primary point of contact for coordination among cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, quality assurance, and EH&S, to support smooth project execution.
• Identify and troubleshoot complex issues related to equipment installation and integration, implementing effective solutions in a timely manner.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including technical specifications, progress reports, and risk assessments.
• Compile all relevant documentation for First Article Inspection (FAI) review.
• Collaborate with vendors and contractors to manage equipment delivery schedules, performance, and compliance with contract terms.
• Ensure that all engineering activities comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.
• Foster effective communication across all levels of the organization, facilitating knowledge sharing and stakeholder engagement.
• Provide technical support and guidance during project planning, execution, and post-commissioning phases.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project processes and outcomes

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in equipment procurement, installation, and commissioning, preferably within an aviation MRO or industrial manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record of managing complex engineering projects, with demonstrated problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of safety and quality management principles relevant to equipment installation and commissioning.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging effectively across all organizational levels.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
