Job Description SummaryThe SPOCT team as part of the Eurodrone Systems organization is responsible for the integration of engine Performance, Operability, Control & Transient disciplines. Additional responsibilities include the support to other disciplines like Acoustics, Thermal Management System and Inclement Weather, as well as support to Propeller integration. The Eurodrone SPOCT Integration Engineer will support the SPOCT leader to develop a complete and consistent set of SPOCT requirements at system level and support the execution and update of the EuroDrone SPOCT plan along the development phase of the EuroDrone engine, with the aim of fulfilling program objectives while balancing the business and the technical needs.

Job DescriptionEssential Responsibilities

  • Manage System and SPOCT requirements to comply with regulation and customer specification, verifying proper flow-down, consistency with Engine Systems requirements and feasibility according to disciplines feedback

  • Support the coordination of the SPOCT cross-functional team through the engine development phase, with the aim of meeting SPOCT plan expectations in terms of quality and timing of the deliverables

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college

  • Experience in Product Development (e.g. Performance or Operability or Control or Thermal system or aerodynamic disciplines)

  • Fluent in English, Italian knowledge is a plus

  • Curiosity and passion for mechanical design

Desired Characteristics
  • Master’s degree in mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering related to heat transfer, fluid mechanics, propulsion or turbomachinery aerodynamics from an accredited college or university.

  • Prior experience with Requirements management and related tools

  • Teamwork and strong global cooperation skills

  • Strong customer mindset

  • Strong oral and written communication skills
