As Release Train Engineer (RTE) in the F-35 Training Market, this individual will engage with a diverse group of product teams to deliver one of the most advanced training systems supporting both domestic and international customers. The selected candidate will serve as the Release Train Engineer in either the Training Infrastructure (TIPS) or Pilot Training (PTD) areas.

The Release Train Engineer will facilitate events and processes and assist the teams in delivering value, communicate with stakeholders, escalate impediments, help manage risk and drive improvement. The Release Train Engineer has a solid grasp of how to scale Lean and Agile practices and understand the unique opportunities and challenges associated with facilitating and continuously aligning a large development, production, and sustainment efforts. More specifically, the Release Train Engineer will serve as the Agile Champion and Coach, facilitating execution (leading program iteration planning, and agile metric maturation), enabling the removal of impediments, enabling collaboration, and fostering continuous improvement and excellence.

This position is part of the F-35 Training Systems, Systems Engineer Integration and Test organization at the Lockheed Martin Orlando facility at Lake Underhill.

While this position enables telecommuting, the selected candidate will work from the Orlando Facility 50 or greater.
Basic Qualifications:
Individuals considered for this position will have demonstrated experience in the following areas:
• Execution of Agile and Lean Projects in a DOD construct
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college education, with 14 years or more of professional experience; or 12 years of professional experience with a related Masters
• Resolving technical challenges requiring integration with cross-functional teams
• Experience with customer Program Reviews and technical design reviews;
• Experience using Lockheed Martin JIRA Issue and Project Tracking Software
• Experience applying execution metrics to multi-product development and releases
Desired Skills:
Individuals considered for this position may have experience in one or more of the following areas:
• Model Based Engineering Experience
• Agile Certifications such as Agile Product Owner or Program Coach
• Generating metrics-based Basis-Of Estimates (BOEs) and providing proposal support
• Agile Software Development Experience
• Flight and/or Flight Control Experience
• Active Secret clearance
• Proven Experience with Earned Value Management System data collection and reporting
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
