FCAS2023 CAD/DMU/ELEC Processes Engineer

Job Description:

Tasks:

• To develop and deploy the CAD Methods and Processes.
• To develop and deploy the MBSE Methods and Processes.
• To support the selection, test, evaluate and deploy new CAD/PDM Tools.
• To develop the methodology for the Generation, maintenance and data extraction of the Digital Mock Up in Airbus Defence and Space
• To develop or support the development of the utilities to improve MBSE/CAD processes.
• To develop the process and utilities for the Quality control of the Digital Mock Up and Design CAD information.
• To test, evaluation and deploy the environment of DMU Integration and Definition of Digital Mock up.
• To prepare and the Training and Standard Manuals of the MBSE/CAD Processes, Methods and Tools
• To realize the Training and give technical Support to the user in Design and Engineering
• To attend specific MBSE/CAD forums/meetings representing Airbus Defence and Space (internal or external meetings)

Qualification:

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

• Educated engineer with university degree in aerospace engineering (or equivalent).
• Work experience as MBSE/CAD processes and methods engineer.
• General Expertise on CatiaV5, PDM systems, and 3DExperience.
• Expertise demonstrated in the handling and modelling of assemblies and the Modules of Catia V5/3DX.

• Expertise in Catia V5 advanced electrical modules.

• Experience in the electrical process: wiring and harness definition and harness installations.
• Experience in Digital continuity and MBSE integration. Link between MBSE and Full3D.
• Programming skills to develop functions and/or applications in the context of MBSE and Matlab Simulink.
• Expertise in the preparation of utilities & programs in the Catia V5/3DX environment.
• Experience in the Design and Engineering process: Mechanical and electrical installations.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proactive attitude and willingness for teamwork in a transnational surrounding with various interfaces to other disciplines
• Fluent in English and Spanish (German is welcome)
