Description:In this role, you will work as part of a multi-discipline engineering team leading and executing the electrical components of federal and industrial projects. The position will entail creating and issuing construction drawings
and specifications, prepare bid sheets, studies and reports, as well as, being able to demonstrate good working design knowledge of grounding, lightning protection, surge protection, lighting, protective relaying, prime and standby
generation, low and medium voltage motor control centers, low and medium voltage switch gear, medium voltage substations, and UPS systems. Reviews and estimates design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation, and other related costs. Inspects or directs the inspection of construction and installation progress to ensure conformance to established
drawings, specifications, and schedules. Strong team leadership, excellent communication skills, presentation skills, motivation, positive attitude, and ability to work on multiple projects concurrently will be core roles for this person. The applicant will interface directly with internal and external clients and will demonstrate a proven
ability to drive projects to successful completion within budget and schedule constraints.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
experience/combined education

Proficiency using AUTOCAD

Proficiency with standard desktop applications for word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations

US Citizenship Required
Desired Skills:
Experience with design and specification of Lighting, Power, Fire Alarm, and Telecommunications systems for Commercial, Industrial, and Government projects.

Excellent working knowledge of NFPA 70(National Electrical Code) and NFPA 70E(Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace), NFPA 72 (National Fire Alarm Code) NFPA 101 ( Life Safety Code) as well as IBC (International Building Code) and OSHA.

Experience with modeling electrical systems and running power system studies using SKM-PTW.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $61,300 - $117,500 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:
