Facilities Engineer shall review AMARG projects to advise and execute the development and implementation of process orders, facilities engineering projects, IPC, and engineering change management. Engineering processes shall be in accordance with (IAW), AFSCI 21-402, Industrial Process Control, AFSCMAN 21-102_OOALCSUP, Depot Maintenance Management, Chap. 23, and all other listed publications in Appendix B. Processes must adhere to the specific guidance per assigned tasks. All engineers must possess a “SECRET” security clearance and a minimum of Journeyman level of experience.

The Facilities Engineer shall provide engineering involvement and subject matter expertise in planning, design, implementation, execution, and maintenance activities IAW AFSCMAN 21-102_OO-ALCSUP, Chapter 23 and regulatory guidance listed in Appendix B. The Contractor shall provide technical advice and support for the following facility engineering functions: real property project design, development, and management to include facility repairs, alterations, new construction, and new equipment installation. Appropriate reports shall be delivered based on the type of project. (See para. 3.2.1.9 for report requirement). (CDRL A/B/C001 – Monthly Status Report)

  • The Contractor shall be the technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the definition of project/customer requirements that require engineering dispositions such as:
  • Providing a technical definition of projects to include specifications, drawings, and tolerances, for projects/customer requirements.
  • Participating in project design reviews to evaluate for accuracy, timeliness, and incorporation of suitable project requirements.
  • Assist the government during design and construction as a technical expert and engineering authority.
  • The contractor shall document and report changes, concerns, and project milestones on all assigned projects. (See para. 3.2.1.9 for reporting requirement). (CDRL A/B/C001 – Monthly Status Report)
  • Verbally brief GR and or Group stakeholders (Leadership), both formally and informally, on the current project status as requested by the GR during the weekly project review meeting, and as requested with a 24-hour notice.
  • The Contractor shall prioritize and execute facility project requirements in coordination with supported production group needs.
  • The Contractor shall track, and report maintenance and preliminary cost estimates as required for short and long-term projects that include but are not limited to; identifying future innovative solutions to increase AMARG's agility and posturing for future growth.
  • The Contractor shall work on customer requests to identify the customer requirements for facility-related projects.
  • This includes but is not limited to identifying the problem, identifying performance gaps, and fully identifying all inputs and outputs for short and long-term project plans.
  • The Contractor shall identify and recommend corrections, facility deficiencies related to risk assessment codes, fire safety deficiencies, and uniform building code requirements.
  • The Contractor shall assist production squadrons with safety-related repair processes and equipment and participate in mishaps and safety- related issues.
  • The Contractor shall process taskings for facility engineer requirements.
  • The GR will have the authority to extend or prioritize taskings.
  • The Contractor shall notify the COR and CO of any change requirements. (See para. 3.2.1.9 for reporting requirement). (CDRL A/B/C001 – Monthly Status Report)
  • The Contractor shall establish a timeline tasking tracker for all facility taskings. This tracker shall be available for GR review.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50.00 - $61.00 per hour
