What You’ll Do
As a Facilities Plant Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving electrical systems across aerospace facilities. Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting electrical phases of buildings, equipment installations, and utility systems.
Investigating asset failures and applying reliability tools like root cause analysis and fault tree analysis.
Analyzing facility conditions and recommending capital improvements.
Translating customer requirements into engineering designs, documentation, and cost estimates.
Selecting materials, equipment, and services while ensuring compliance with codes and standards.
Producing technical drawings, specifications, and permit application packages.
Supporting construction projects by reviewing contractor proposals and monitoring progress.
Ensuring accurate documentation of electrical systems, including as-built drawings and archives.
What You Need to Succeed
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.
4+ years of related work experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
Knowledge of medium and low voltage electrical systems, substations, and switchgear repairs.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with electrical service providers and evaluating lighting conditions.
Familiarity with building automation, control systems, and energy management.
5+ years of experience in engineering, facilities, or maintenance roles.

Pay Details: $45.88 to $48.49 per hour
