Flight Dynamics Simulation Development Engineer (d/f/m)

Your tasks and responsibilities
It will be your task to perform flight dynamics design and simulation activities required to answer FCAS, Eurofighter and Eurodrone program project needs during the full development cycle. Additionally, you will be participating in the development of the simulation software with special focus on optimization and stochastic based simulations. This includes pre-processing, simulation and post-processing tools in various programming languages.
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
Develop new flight dynamics models
Develop vehicle simulations and tools for the overall aircraft simulation
Develop pre-processing and post-processing tools to deal with large data-sets utilizing the high performance cluster infrastructure
Enhance the optimization-based and stochastic-based flight clearances with additional algorithms and methods
Coordinate and lead tool development
Execute flight mechanics aircraft simulations and in depth analyze the results
Define and analyze handling qualities
Interact with interface disciplines such as control law design, aerodynamics, fuel/stores, system design, loads, safety, etc.
Desired skills and qualifications
Master&39;s degree in Aerospace Engineering or similar
First Engineering experience
Experience in flight dynamics and mechanics, optimization algorithms, simulation software, flight control system is an advantage
Good Programming knowledge: Java, Matlab/Simulink, Python, C/C&43;&43;
Good knowledge about software configuration control and continuous integration
Integrity and confidence to speak up
Evident ability to learn and grow fast
Very good interpersonal and communication skills, strong team player
Fluent German and English
