Job Description:

Description:This position is for an experienced Test Engineer to support Development Operations at RMS on the Pilot Training Devices for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter. Specific
responsibilities will include:

• Performs installation, maintenance, and repairs on flight simulators used for developing new software/hardware.

• Locates and diagnoses failures, replaces defective components, and performs basic troubleshooting using standard electronic equipment, detailed drawings, diagrams, sketches, specifications, prints, manuals, and verbal and/or written instructions.

• May redesign basic electrical, electronic, or mechanical systems for incorporation on existing development equipment.

• Performs asset configuration, setting up IP addresses and MAC addresses, networking, system stand-up and operational testing, and troubleshooting of test systems.
Basic Qualifications:
• Ability to understand electrical schematics, networking schematics, and written test procedures

• Experience with configuring network assets and other IT related tasks

• Experience with electrical test equipment

• Ability to maintain a Secret Security Clearance
Desired Skills:
• Possess a DoD Secret Clearance with an investigation/reinvestigation that completed within the last five years.

• Current approval for JSF Special Access Programs

• Possess a current CompTIA Security + Certification

• Experience with training simulators

• Experience with JIRA/Confluence Atlassian web-based tools

• Ability to analyze complex designs & create test solutions that optimize cost/technical/schedule variables

• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation) and able to communicate effectively with external customer and internal leadership about technical status/issues
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
