Job Description:

Description:This position is for a Full Stack Engineer working for Lockheed Martin Enterprise Information Technology (EIT), FORCE team to support cost management of both cloud and on-premises workloads.

Development & Automation Engineer responsibilities:

• Evaluate and implement controls to drive cost effective usage of cloud services

• Implement automation to support adoption of cost savings opportunities for cloud and on-premises workloads

• Support and develop cost reporting capabilities, working with stakeholders to drive requirements

Implement software features and infrastructure as code in support of backlog requirements

Perform root cause analysis of system faults, produce detailed report, derive implementation to address faults

• Support use of and implementation of DevOps requirements such as CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes

• Technical testing of significant maintenance / operational / upgrade activities, and process enhancements/updates

A development background, familiarity with cloud, automation, DevOps, and full stack engineering. Effective verbal and written communication skills and management of priorities and deliverables plus the ability to work within a team environment are expected. Heavy collaboration and consulting with numerous business area/business unit representatives, adherence to the highest standards of ethics and professional conduct in addition to the ability to work flexible hours are expected.
Basic Qualifications:
• Demonstrated effective oral and written communicator to both management and technical staff

• Development Background utilizing one or more of the following technologies: Java, C, Python, Ruby, JavaScript or associated scripting languages.

• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipeline, static code analysis, dynamic code analysis.

• Experience with Cloud (AWS and/or Azure) cost management services and pricing models

• Familiarity with automation, DevOps, and full stack engineering.

• Motivated, energetic self-starter who is comfortable working in a fast paced environment
Desired Skills:
• Experience utilizing and developing continuous integration/continuous (CI/CD) pipelines

• Full Stack Engineer who is comfortable working with a variety of languages and architectures.

• Experience with AWS services SCP, Lambda, Glue, Athena, Billing and Cost Management, Trusted Advisor

• B.S. degree in a technical discipline (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Cyber Security, or Information Technology)

• Experience with the Agile methodologies (e.g., SAFe, SCRUM, etc.) and Agile project management tools (e.g., JIRA)

• Requirements gathering, developing technical specification and architecture diagrams.

• Experience developing Splunk dashboards

• Experience using Business Intelligence tools, such as Tableau and AWS QuickSight

• Certification credentials (AWS Certified Developer, Solutions Architect)

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
