Job Description SummaryAs part of the RISE design team the RISE PGB Gears Hardware Owner is the connection and interface among Engineering, Supply Chain and Systems. The hardware owner will support the industrialization of the gears and delivery of first prototypes as well as the testing phase. He/She will liaise closely to the Module Leader to ensure a successful integration of these components in the PGB module and the Engine.

Job DescriptionEssential Responsibilities

  • Provide ownership for assigned hardware including technical, cost, delivery and quality. Support the definition of overall program plans into requirements and milestones for the design and procurement of assigned hardware.

  • Execute the design, analysis, and evaluation of assigned hardware using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements

  • Serves as design team representative for Tollgate and Technical reviews for assigned hardware

  • Work with a variety of engineering organizations and contribute to the development of the engine systems and designs.

  • Be responsible for monitoring and communicating project status to Engineering leadership.  Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments.

  • Participate as a presenter in technical and program reviews

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Master Degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering from an accredited university

  • Good knowledge of fundamental mechanical design concepts, mechanics of materials, design hand calculations

  • Have strong engineering outlook, hands-on engineering foundation and eager to learn

  • Clear thinking and diligent approach

  • English and Italian language knowledge, both written and oral.

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills

  • Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required
