As a Graduate Electrical Engineer you will contribute to the development of bespoke electrical/electronic solutions for integration into complex systems, ranging from autonomous multirole surface vessels to sonar and submarine systems. Apply new and advanced technologies to design, manage, and maintain safe, reliable power and control systems for new and existing customers.
AEUK&8217;s electrical/electronics development activities include specifying, designing, implementing, and testing electrical systems and electronic circuits, integrating designs onto AEUK or customer platforms, cutting-edge power generation, advanced drive technologies, RF telemetry systems, electrical safety, CE marking products, and system-level EMC design, control, and testing.

What we are looking for in you:

  • Accountable for the design and delivery of complex electrical systems
  • Interest or past experience in electrical engineering or the marine industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective interaction at all levels
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong team focus and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently, using own initiative, especially under pressure
  • Prioritise and manage personal workload to ensure deadlines are achieved
  • Willingness to travel in the UK and overseas

Key Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for the design and delivery of complex electrical systems
