We are seeking a Graduate Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team at Dorset Innovation Park, Winfrith. As a key member of our Engineering Graduate Programme, you will provide Systems Engineering/Design Engineering support throughout the complete product lifecycle. Reporting to the Team Leader, you&8217;ll play an integral role in developing and implementing innovative solutions for our maritime technology projects. Join us to embark on a 2-year Graduate Scheme, where you&8217;ll step into a permanent role from day one and receive mentorship from experienced professionals, ensuring your continuous professional development.

As a Graduate Systems Engineer, you will utilise and enhance your technical knowledge to creatively solve problems within a robust engineering framework. Working closely with experienced mentors, you&8217;ll contribute to multi-disciplinary engineering projects, including mechanical, electrical, electronic, and software design principles. The Graduate Scheme offers a structured training program, project assignments set by the Senior Management Team, and regular reviews to support your progression. Be part of a team that fosters creativity, innovation, and hands-on application of engineering theory.
What does your skills and experience look like?
• On course for a degree in Engineering or an Engineering-related subject
• Knowledge of systems engineering principles and their application to multi-disciplinary projects
• Interest or past experience in engineering or the maritime industry
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Interpersonal skills to interact with people at all levels
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Familiarity with 2D drawings and 3D CAD models advantageous
• Strong team focus, time management skills, and ability to work independently
• Willingness to travel in the UK and overseas
