Job Summary

Cirrus Aircraft is seeking a creative and skillful Graphic Designer to join our growing team and contribute to our visual identity and brand presence around the world. This role will support the Cirrus Store retail team and liaise with the marketing, design and media teams. In this role you will create design concepts to produce assets including gifts and apparel, signage, web design, promotional materials, print ads, as well as support visual merchandising efforts. You will collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistent branding across all channels. You will also collaborate with internal teams and support our growing initiatives. This role will work with Cirruss vendors to manage the design process from concept through the finished goods. It is required that you stay informed about industry trends, design best practices, and emerging technologies then apply this knowledge to enhance the retail product assortment, visual presence and maintain a modern design aesthetic delivering an improved experience for all customer profiles across all retail channels and increasing revenue.

Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions

  • Enhance the customer experience at the Cirrus Store across all sales channels by increasing and improving inventory options, store layout and visuals, packaging design, web design, signage and optimizing all visual and design elements.
  • Help create new merchandise throughout the year and design event, location, seasonal, and other specific merchandise as needed.
  • Participate in product selection and buying.
  • Participate in store design and layout across locations and events.
  • Design signage and promotional materials.
  • Create and support web design and updates.
  • Work with vendors to facilitate product design, product photography, lifestyle photography, and other assets creation.
  • Support the execution of monthly retail events and promotions.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and sales, to understand design requirements and deliver creative solutions that align with business goals.
  • Strong communicator both visually and verbally. Must articulate design intent while being flexible to client needs.
  • Incorporate feedback from team members, internal stakeholders and vendors, providing revisions and updates as needed. Strive for continuous improvement and excellence in design output.
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, from concept to completion. Ensure timely delivery of high-quality designs that meet project objectives and deadlines.
  • Develop visually compelling and on-brand design concepts for various products and marketing materials, including but not limited to print collateral, digital assets, social media graphics, and presentations.

  • Bachelors degree in graphic design, visual Arts, or related field.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects.
  • 3-5 years real world experience, either in-house or at an agency.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in brand development.
  • Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for design aesthetics.
  • Knowledge of print and digital production processes.
  • Demonstrates strong understanding of line, proportion & use of color. Strong visual communicator.
  • Ability to show sound judgement and effective communication skills (written & verbal).
  • Ability to effectively manage stress, including competing work demands and multiple projects at the same time.
  • Some travel will be necessary.
