Job Summary


HW Test & Automation Engineer will be part of Test Engineering Team that supports AIS Signal Solutions line of business, a world leader in high performance data recording collection systems and radio frequency (RF) tuners, receivers, and subsystems that cover the electromagnetic spectrum from VLF to microwave. In this role, you will be supporting Design Validation & Manufacturing Transition of all RF products & systems. The role supports some remote flexibility (required to be onsite on Tues – Thurs) with a 9/80 schedule.


Job Responsibilities




  • Involved with the design and development of test programs/fixtures to measure the functionality, integrity, & manufacturing quality of products and services. 




  • Develop automated tests for products and systems including script development, Test Setups, Test plan documentation, and Test Data/Report Summary




  • Lead/Support Product Design Validation & Acceptance Test Teams including test plan review, debug support, test setups, script development/updates etc.




  • Debug test hardware setups and software scripts/GUI to support product validation. 




  • Support/Lead Transition to Manufacturing with respect to Test Engineering




  • Effectively communicate with all key stakeholders such as Design Leads, Program Managers, Manufacturing Counterparts etc.




Job Requirements:
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or related technical field or an equivalent experience with relevant skill sets and a minimum of 2 years of experience in Product Testing/Development

  • Experienced in Test Script Development, System Level Validation, and ATE Setups

    • Developing LabVIEW GUI/Scripts

    • Developing C# or Python Scripts

    • Test setups for validating system level & component level, & PCBA

    • Experienced in Data Analysis, Test Data Parsing, & Test Data Visualization Methodologies

    • Experienced in writing results to SQL Database Structures

  • Experienced in supporting Test Plan Development, Planning, and Execution

  • Hands on experience with lab equipment such as DMMs, Scopes, Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, Signal Generators, Power Meters etc.

  • Basic exposure to RF fundamentals – Design, Test & Troubleshooting

  • Experienced in supporting both Development and Manufacturing Environments

  • Experience or working knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Power BI and Dashboard is preferred
