Job Description:
Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Helicopter System Simulation Engineer (f/m) to join our simulation department based in Marignane, France.
You will be part of a team developing modular simulation systems and simulators for all helicopter programs. With these systems, we deliver simulation capabilities for various internal and external customers.
As part of the system simulation team, you will be involved in the mission to deliver simulation systems for a given helicopter aiming at
Validation of new helicopter concepts, using simulations and simulators
Participation to the development of full flight simulators, cockpit procedure trainers and other simulation training devices
Support of helicopter embedded system and software tests, with simulation as an enabler or test environment
Many other applications in research and development

Your challenges:
Develop or lead/coordinate the developments of different system and sub-system simulations, according to the helicopter configurations and their evolutions
Integrate the global helicopter simulation and/or the helicopter simulator and assure simulation product maturity
Verification of global configuration match between system simulations and reference helicopters
Contribute to the exploitation of the potential of simulations, e.g. in different simulators and helicopter system test facilities
Possibly coordinate subcontracted activities
Support offers for new projects
Your profile:
Experience in system integration and test
Background in software engineering, with focus on real time/embedded software
Knowledge of helicopter systems and architectures
Passion for helicopters, their functions and missions, and in particular interest for all that happens in the cockpit
Ability to work in team with highly international environment
Good communication skills, especially in English
This position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
