Position Summary
Our commitment to excellence drives our need for a talented and motivated Infrastructure Engineer / IT Analyst to join our IT team. The Infrastructure Engineer / IT Analyst will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our IT infrastructure. This role ensures the seamless operation of our network, storage, and computing environments, supporting the organizations goals for reliability, scalability, and security. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Essential Responsibilities
Develop and implement IT infrastructure systems that are robust, scalable, and secure to support business operations.
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, network devices, storage systems, and virtualization environments.
- Perform regular updates, patches, backups, and performance monitoring to ensure system reliability and uptime.
- Implement and enforce security measures, conduct audits and vulnerability assessments, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans, implement backup solutions, and conduct regular recovery tests.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and third-party service providers.
- Maintain detailed documentation of infrastructure configurations, procedures, and policies. Prepare reports on system performance and incidents.
- Stay updated with industry trends, recommend and implement improvements, and participate in professional development.
- Willingness to travel to various locations as required for project implementation and support.
Position Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of four years of proven experience as an Infrastructure Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Enterprise level infrastructure, system administration, and cyber security best practices.
- Proficiency in virtualization technologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSA, CCNA, CompTIA Security+, VCP-DCV) are a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) program is a plus.
- Valid drivers license is a plus.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
