Job Description:
Capabilities Development
•tLead the development and implementation of Group and partners OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) new repair capabilities and report to the Industrialization Manager.
•tAnalyze technical data, gather spanet data, investment requirements to perform feasibility studies and Return on Investment.
•tPerform self-assessments, engineering studies, build up justification file. Liaise with Quality for smooth airworthiness application for testing & repair capability integration.
•tLiaise with the OEMs to clarify the requirements.
•tDevelop, source new equipment, consumables and chemicals and support investments linked to testing & repair policies.
•tDrive the progress of the tasks, pilot projects milestones review with various stakeholders, report advancement, track investments and expenses, monitor contractors and suppliers, devise maintenance plans.
•tLead operations trainings and validation tests.
•tEstablish calibration requirements.
•tFollow-up the testing & repair ramp-up with the workshops and support the Entry Into Service for new programs.
•tReport to management. Flow down relevant and timely information.
Support & maintain new capabilities
•tCoordinate with Product Support Engineer (PSE), and Operations personal to ensure optimal customer support.
•tAssist the lead equipment maintenance when required.
•tImplement systems or components modifications following notification of change related to CMM, Service Bulletins (SB) or Service Information Letters (SIL).
•tSupport workshop implementation of new requirements upon fleet upgrade and retrofit campaigns.
•tDevelop the Integrated Logistic Support at SEDSA levels.
•tHelp sourcing for material, suppliers, 3rd parties, alternatives.
•tReview calibration requirements.
•tTake a pro-active approach, initiate creative solutions to maintenance issues and assist the workshops in implementing best practices, Continuous Improvement, LEAN operations, cost reductions and applying lessons-learned from previous or bench-spaned experiences.
•tEnsure that communication between all stakeholders, Head Quarter, OEMs, Workshops, Quality, Sales, Continuous Improvement, Supply Chain, Customers, Suppliers, is optimum.
•tEnsure SEDSA contract terms & conditions are understood & satisfied. Pro-actively manage contractual issues with 3rd Parties and suppliers.
•tReport to management. Flow down relevant and timely information.
Job Requirements:
Experience and Qualifications:
a)\tDegree in Mechanical/Electrical/Aeronautical Engineering
b)\tAt least 3 years of Aviation Engineering experience, Technical Support Aircraft Maintenance and Repair Operations, in OEM or MRO environment
c)\tProficient in product support and trouble shooting procedures
d)\tHands-on experience on design and wiring of electronics test fixtures
e)\tExperience in OEM technical support, or related MRO operations/engineering
f)\tMust be familiar with technical support environment, processes, and manuals used for aircraft maintenance. Working knowledge of the Aviation Airworthiness requirements like Part 145 is advantageous
g)\tEffective Project Management and interpersonal skills
h)\tExperience in calibration requirements and procedures
i)\tProficient with Microsoft software applications
j)\tWorking knowledge of the Aviation Airworthiness requirements like Part 145 is advantageous
k)\tSound knowledge of quality systems such as ISO9000 and AS9110
l)\tExcellent attitude, good team player, motivated, driven, committed, reliable. Take ownership of the projects
m)\tAbility to multi task in a dynamic environment
