Description:Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control is seeking an electrical, computer, or mechanical engineering student for our Integration, Test & Evaluation Directorate. This position is associated with performance of tasks involving missile systems and/or automated test equipment. Tasks may include development of detailed missile assembly test procedures, development of automated test equipment requirements, automated test equipment software development, hardware and software integration of missile subsystems, troubleshooting and status reporting.

Additional typical duties may include review and analyze test & production test requirements, determine required test approach and develop test concepts. Develop design verification plans and conduct testing. Compile data and define changes required in test requirement, equipment, test procedures, manufacturing processes, or define additional new test requirements. This role also involves synthesizing customer contractual needs and requirements into system test or automated test equipment solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints. Candidate will coordinate subsystem, automated test equipment and/or system testing activities with other program engineers and other organizations. Perform analysis of test results and prepare comprehensive subsystem and/or system level evaluation reports which verify and validate system performance.
Basic Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications :
Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical, Computer, or Mechanical Engineering.
Knowledge associated with Programming languages such as C, C++, MATLAB.
Familiarity with common lab equipment (digital multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Power Supplies).
Ability to obtain security clearance.
Desired Skills:
-Knowledge of missile system integration with airborne platforms

-Knowledge associated with Data Acquisition devices, Relays, PXI Chassis, RS-232/422/485 protocols, Fiber optic communication, Ethernet, and Switching

-Current assignment/internship on an MFC Missile program
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
