Job Description SummaryIn the role of Engineer TSE – Facility and TEH – Electrical you will be contributing to the design and development of products, solutions and systems for turboprop testing. The job includes activities linked to technical improvement of existing products and components, and support of test campaign execution.
You will join the Test System Engineering (TSE) team and will be responsible for electrical portion of gas turbine test cell facilities and test enabling hardware in terms of design and implementation of new systems, upgrading the current once, helping the test and engineering team to drive the engine test campaign correctly.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using engineering principles and adhering to GE procedures, product and program requirements
  • Lead design efforts, either with internal or external resources, and support projects through fabrication, installation, and commissioning
  • Ensure compliance to GE Aviation Design Practices to drive quality of design and component/system capability
  • Implement plans with guidance to meet technical requirements of components and systems
  • Communicate with program leadership on project status, escalating issues and proposing solutions to meet customer deliverables
  • Engage broader engineering teams to resolve issues as needed
  • Participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews
  • Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and / or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors/Masters degree in Aerospace Engineering , Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplines;
  • Previous experience in Engineering area;
  • Familiarity with aero-engines and aero-engine testing, operation or test cells;
  • Ability to perform engine/test cell troubleshooting based on the protocol exchange;
  • Experience with leading engine/components tests of aerospace or industrial products or experience with gas turbines operation;
  • Solid project leadership skills,
  • Strong problem solving skills,
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional matrix environment,
  • Strong communication and presentation skills,
  • Good proficiency in English.
