How youll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities) The Delta Connection Maintenance and Engineering team is looking for someone who is excited to explore the regional space of the airline industry and utilize their technical, analytical and strategic expertise to help push Delta Connection and our partners forward. Primary Functions The DC Maintenance Analytics Program Manager will identify, lead and facilitate end-to-end DC Maintenance strategies and solutions in collaboration with the GM of Delta Connection Maintenance & Engineering and other internal and external stakeholders. These strategies and solutions will range from long-term planning with Network to short-term planning with carrier planning teams to day-of execution planning with carrier Maintenance teams. In this role, the selected individual will have the opportunity to utilize their technical background and expertise in an operational and commercial context. This position will undertake tasks including but not limited to: Monitor DC carrier maintenance stats such as D0, FFD0, 3+hr delay rate and delay code mix at system and station level and work with team members to identify negative trends and drive improvement strategies.Lead discussions with Network, DC Commercial, and carriers to identify and solve maintenance constraints based on reduced capture, missing MMRs, check yield, TAT, and other Network-centric metrics.Coordinate with carriers on optimizing execution of their maintenance tasks through utilization of metrics such as aircraft health, risk, chances remaining, etcFacilitate collaboration among Delta mainline teams, DC OCC, and carriers to share best practices. What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications) Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Engineering, Analytics, Maintenance Planning, or Technical Program Management.Must be able to digest information quickly to prioritize proactive and strategic solutions.Possesses willingness and curiosity to expand scope beyond individual tasks to explore and understand impact of responsibilities on enterprise.Independently overcomes roadblocks and assists leadership with removing larger obstacles through development of innovative solutions and building relationships with partners.Identifies and completes objectives on time while communicating to more senior level team members when they require additional resources to complete tasks.Manages changes in scope, priorities and goals smoothly.Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
