Driving Infinite Possibilities Within A Diversified, Global OrganizationThe Adsorbent Lead Technical Sales Engineer (with a strong background in adsorbents) will be a key enabler of Honeywell Separation & Purification Solutions (HSP) growth by leading the adoption of UOPs unique adsorbent solutions, including new adsorbent products and technologies, by our customers. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and provide new and innovative adsorbent technology solutions that challenge the boundaries of existing design practices.
- Provide direct sales support to commercialize new adsorbents and adsorbent technologies. This often requires being comfortable working outside standard guidelines.
- Be the source of deep adsorbent expertise and become an expert in adsorbent design knowledge for Honeywell. Expand the boundaries of the adsorbent design protocols.
- Develop and implement systems and processes to standardize adsorbent design protocols.
- Develop and implement adsorbent design practices that enhance consistency and quality of designs while improving team productivity.
- Participate in customer discussions regarding adsorbent sales to provide technical sales support and develop an understanding of the customers needs and expectations to meet or exceed requirements and increase satisfaction.
- Support the execution of all complex and "outside-the-box" adsorbent opportunities through the development of business cases for specific opportunities, including designs, input on strategy for sales events, and preparation and delivery of technical sales presentations in customer meetings.
- Collect customer intelligence on regional market trends, competitor strategies, and products. Provide information to Adsorbent Business, Development, and Offering Managers for subsequent analysis.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the adsorbent design capabilities, including our value propositions from the Honeywell UOP Catalyst, Adsorbents & Specialties business unit, concentrating on adsorbents, and becoming recognized internally and externally as an adsorbent technology expert.
- In conjunction with the PDM, Development, and Business teams, support the launch of new products through the identification of target customers, development of business cases for specific opportunities, including designs, input on strategy for sales events, preparation and delivery of technical sales presentations, and direct customer meeting support.
- Be a strategic contributor for adsorbent units that are experiencing performance issues.Unique Aspects of the Position (Travel, Overseas, Overtime, Work Hours, etc.):An average of 15-25 travel is required, primarily within Americas sites, with some travel to other regions. 50-75 of travel can be scheduled and planned in advance.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
The annual base salary range for this position is $134K - $193K. Please note that this salary information serves as ageneral guideline. YOU MUST HAVE:
- 12+ years of experience in Refining, Petrochemicals, and/or Gas Processing.
- 10+ years of adsorbent experience.
