L3Harris Technologies Company is seeking a Lead, Affordability Engineer to join our growing Aerojet Rocketdyne Segment Missille Solutions Sector at our Canoga Park, California location. Working under minimal direction, this person will perform Affordability assignments requiring detailed knowledge of application of concepts, practices, and techniques. This also requires a detailed understanding of the system and system effects.
Essential Functions:
Lead or assist with should-cost estimates for proposals.
Lead or assist with PRICE TruePlanning estimates of propulsion system costs and associated component costs.
Lead or support Design-to-Cost efforts on programs.
Build a strong working relationship with the other Aerojet Rocketdyne Segment employees to ensure that the groups capabilities are fully utilized and that the groups results are meeting customer needs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 9 years of prior relevant engineering experience or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related engineering experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related engineering experience.
Active US Secret Security Clearance.

Candidate to be able to create and improve training materials and possibly deliver training sessions.
Candidate to be able to support discipline initiatives.
Candidate to be able to support discipline coordination meetings.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Washington State and New York State is $106,500 - $197,500. For California, Seattle and New York City, the salary range for this role is $122,500 - $227,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
