Learning Specialist (Instructional Design)

To support the growing demand for innovative and creative instructional design, we are looking for an experienced Learning Specialist (Instructional Design) to join the team. With the team adopting Agile ways of working, the role will operate as part of a squad that will plan, produce and deliver innovative learning solutions to meet varying business needs.

Reporting to the Chapter Lead (Instructional Design), this role will be able to grow and develop their craft towards providing world-class, learner-centred, multi-modal, instructional design learning solutions that shape the experience and outcomes for our current and future learners.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Designing world-class learning solutions, that are foundationally solid utilising standard learning models and principles
• Preparing and producing quality learning experience storyboards and instructional design and production briefs
• Produce instructional content, leveraging modern learning approaches such as microlearning and in-time learning and educational technologies such as AR/VR, Gen AI, etc.(where feasible)
• Providing quality control for your own work and the work of others
• Working closely with other crafts and squad members to organise scope of work and quality parameter for learning projects
• Actively following squad schedules and platforms to deliver learning solutions on time and within budget
• Actively complying with safe operating practices, company policies and regulations.

What you will bring to the role:

• 3+ experience in instructional design in enterprise learning environments
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of modern learning design principles, models and frameworks.
• Intermediate to advanced abilities in learning content authoring using industry standard applications - Articulate Storyline, Rise 360 and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Intermediate to advanced generalist abilities in content production techniques, including video production, illustration, animation, etc. Familiarity with XR, game design or Gen AI tools advantageous.
• A digital-first and growth mindset approach to learning design
• Ability to be an effective and appreciated team player, with strong communication skills.
