Airbus is looking for a
Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer EASA B1 Working Party Manager (d/f/m)with a possible start date of September 2024 (earlier/later possible).
As a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer in the Working Party department, you are responsible for overseeing aircraft repair projects from the planning phase, through to embodiment and release to service.
You act in a certifying capacity, coordinate the Working Party Team of Airbus on-site and work with our customer to deliver on time, on cost and on quality products to an industry leading standard.
As this role is mainly for structural repair activities, you should have spent a considerable period engaged in activities such as heavy maintenance, manufacture or cargo conversion.
Working in diverse teams with customers worldwide and the ability to manage different nationalities and cultures is a very important and large part of this position. Furthermore, there is a strong focus on travelling throughout the entire year, worldwide to different countries.

Your tasks and responsibilities
You are the team leader of the Airbus working party team, mainly in customer facilities all around the world
You manage the team competences and allocate the work and you are in charge of carrying out inspections
Certifying aircraft repair tasks, including issuing Certificate of Release to Service in accordance with EASA/FAR Part 145 regulation is one of your main tasks
You ensure airworthiness of the aircraft for the work performed and you are responsible for maintaining compliance with Airbus 145 procedures
You are the focal point for the customer on-site
You support the development of special working party tools and Service Bulletins
You support airlines and Maintenance, Repair and Overhauls (MRO’s) in advisory roles such as troubleshooting and repair embodiment
Your boarding pass
You have the license (mandatory) EASA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance Engineers License Cat B1 (B2 and C added advantage) and you hold minimum two current Airbus Type Ratings as CAT B1
You have completed technical apprenticeship in aviation sector with appropriate further training/education
You have several years of certifying experience in a supervisory role
You have worked a lot abroad and have experience in leading diverse and international teams
Good knowledge of structural aircraft repair and maintenance is a clear plus
Experience with IT tools such as SAP, Workday, AirNavX, Google Workspace is a clear plus
