Use your knowledge of Mechanics and Electronics to help Honeywell AST Freeport deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our facilities and customers. You will work under immediate supervision and alongside some of the worlds most talented employees. You will contribute to the maintenance of Honeywells Manufacturing process by trouble shooting, ordering parts, installing solutions and verifying equipment is back up to production standards.

You will be part of a group of highly committed professionals who provide expertise and ensure the success of the sites commitment to the organization and its customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform testing of equipment and repair of production equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks.
  • Review drawings and schematics
  • Perform process troubleshooting.
  • Determine root cause failure of equipment/processes.
  • Repair, replace, or upgrade processes as needed.
  • Basic understanding of PLC logic
  • Prepare and update equipment records
  • Maintain work area
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE
  • High degree of mechanical aptitude
  • Basic Electronics understanding and troubleshooting
WE VALUE
  • Skilled trades certification
  • 2-year AAS degree or equivalent OJT training
  • Ability to lift 35 lbs. pounds
  • Six Sigma Green Belt
  • Ability to use computers and computer interfaces
  • Focus on important information and identify key details
  • Clear and concise communications
  • Analyze, incorporate and apply new information and concepts
  • Significant relevant experience
