Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a Maintenance/Reliability Engineer to join our team in Springfield, VA.
This individual will be responsible to provide technical expertise and guidance on all matters of reliability engineering, assessment and monitoring for all process equipment (including mechanical, fixed, electrical and instrument /control equipment).
Position Responsibilities:
- Maintenance Planning- Plan and manage electrical PMs and lead outage coordination, ensuring equipment uptime is available (create SOP/MOP)
- Diagnosing and repairing problems, performing preventative maintenance inspections, and offering technical suggestions to improve efficiency and extend the life of equipment. If needed update PM task lists
- Streamline/review PMs to continuously improve the availability of equipment
- Maintain/review the stock of relevant spare parts
- Serve as the SME for electrical team and provide “train the trainer” training where applicable to Maintenance team
- Monitor long term equipment down issues and assist or lead with resolution
- Act as SME for facility condition assessments to ensure program is continuously improving capabilities
- Perform data gathering for certain building loads to be able to trend and monitor for future use.
- Act as a bridge between projects and facilities to ensure smooth transition process is in place. If needed, be brought on early on during SOW gathering to ensure required training/awareness/transition is in place for project
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Adjudicated Counterintelligence Polygraph
- 5+ years’ experience with electrical systems
- Journeyman/Master Electrician License
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 10+ years low voltage/Medium Voltage systems experience
- 5+ years Building Management Systems (BMS) experience
- 3+ years of AUTOCAD experience
- Experience with CMMS programs, including SAP, and conducts training and follow-up with technicians in the use of these systems.
- PE License

Summary pay range: $119,850 - $162,150
