Description:This position will serve as the Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) Manufacturing Engineer responsible for developing and supporting manufacturing processes for rigid, flexible, or rigid-flex printed wiring boards. This position will create and maintain work instruction/ task lists, develop rework/repair instructions from service notifications, assist in design and producibility reviews, initiate process improvements, and validate processes and new equipmentn in support of the Dallas electrical shop PWB operation. This position will be required to interface with shop floor personnel, shop management, and program management. The candidate will be responsible for driving collaboration across the shops and labs.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline from an accredited college with 2 years of relevant professional experience. Considered experienced, but still a learner.
- Effective Communication Skills: Written, Oral, Listening,
Technical Writing.
- Able to interpret drawings and specifications to develop and translate into work instructions.
- Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
- Process Improvement experience
- Experience creating manufacturing plans and work instructions
- This facility requires special access; therefore, you must be a US Citizen.
- Have an existing clearance or ability to obtain a security clearance.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Standards (AS 91000 / AS9102), IPC, J-STD, and MIL-STSD specifications
- Experience with disposition of non-conforming products and with root cause/corrective action definition.
- Experience in establishing Performance Metrics for identifying process improvement.
- Ability to liaison between Production
- SAP ERP Experience
- Windchill PLM Experience.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
