Job Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
• 3+ years of Quality Engineering experience in a Manufacturing environment, including Root cause methodologies experience, experience using inspection equipment and ability to read, write and comprehend blueprints
• Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder due to program security clearance requirements and/or SSA requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
• GKN Experience
• Working knowledge of quality system models such as ISO9000, AS9100, or D1-9000
• Aerospace experience is strongly preferred
• Six Sigma green belt certification or training
• Metrology experience is a plus
• Root Cause Analysis
• Experience with auditing
• Liaison engineering experience preferred
• Customer facing experience is a plus
• Fabrication, machining, welding and assembly experience preferred
• Training and/or experience in lean tools and techniques (Practical Problem Solving, A3, PFMEA and /or Fishbone diagrams)
• Project / Program Management
• Familiarity with AS9145 APQP process or equivalent
• Ability to use test equipment
• CAD and or various computer systems, Siemens NX preferred
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
• Fluent in English language, both written and spoken
Compensation Range
The compensation range for this role is between $90,293 - $112,866.
