Summary:
Develop and enhance build plans for aircraft storage, re-activation, and pre-flight activities.
Review and support completion of open baseline Statements of Work (SOW).
Identify tools, processes, and sequences for efficient job execution.
Provide shipside support to improve processes and address build-related inquiries.
Coordinate with Engineering teams on nonconformance issues.
Collaborate with 787 Engineering Teams across different locations.
Support aircraft induction activities to/from San Antonio.
Required Skills:
Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate degree in engineering, engineering technology, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry from an ABET-accredited institution, or equivalent education and experience.
5+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing engineering.
Minimum 1 year of experience supporting Boeing Commercial Airplane programs (737, 767, 777, 787).
Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends.
Desired Skills:
Self-driven with the ability to contribute independently.
Previous experience with the 787 Program and associated tools.
Familiarity with Velocity, ENOVIA, and IVT systems.
Experience in build planning, processes, and shipside support.
Background in Interiors commodities is advantageous.
This position is non-managerial and does not involve leadership responsibilities.
