Description:Lockheed Martin is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a position in Arlington, TX to support the Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) Program Production Engineering team. IAMD is a collection of programs with a similar mission, to defend against airborne threats. Each program accomplishes this mission in different ways against different specific threats. IAMD includes established production and sustainment programs as well as emerging development programs proving out new technologies. All positions require frequent communication and collaboration with people located across the United States including other Manufacturing Engineers as well as other functions including Design Engineering, Quality Engineering, Global Supply Chain, Finance, Production Planning and Control, Contracts and Program Management to name a few. It can also involve working directly with our government customers, Design for Manufacture input, transition new or revised designs from development to production, proposal estimating, leading manufacturing process validation activities, driving cost reduction initiatives, identifying risks to production and implementing mitigation plans, Lockheed Martin and supplier factory manufacturing support, earned value management and any other program related manufacturing or tooling issues that may arise. Candidate will be required to evaluate designs for producibility and help suppliers resolve technical manufacturing issues. Being able to build relationships and work in a collaborative environment with other disciplines is a must.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or higher in an engineering discipline
Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles
Ability to interpret drawings, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, product/performance specifications and other systems integration technical data
Proficient in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
Ability to travel domestic and/or international
Active Secret Clearance OR ability to obtain Secret Clearance
Desired Skills:
Experience manufacturing circuit card assemblies to J-STD-001 standards
CAM Experience
Bachelors in Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical Engineering or Material Sciences preferred
Experience working with Government customers
Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification
Experience in Electrical Assembly, Mechanical Assembly, Machining, Welding or Castings
Process improvement experience
Experience with integration of launcher equipment
Experience manufacturing THAAD

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
