Role Summary:
At PDS Tech Commercial, we are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join the Production Engineering team supporting a major aerospace program in North Charleston, SC. In this pivotal role, you will be a key player in ensuring the seamless production of world-class aerospace technology, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet technical and customer requirements while driving continuous improvement. Your expertise will directly contribute to the efficiency and quality of the aerospace industry’s most innovative aircraft.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement integrated section plans to meet technical and customer requirements, following industry best practices.
- Collaborate across the value stream to enhance build plan performance, ensuring a high-quality product that delights customers.
- Interpret and communicate engineering intent, providing detailed analysis to improve production processes.
- Maintain ongoing feedback between the factory and customer representatives to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Foster a team culture rooted in core company values, driving improvement across business metrics and technical goals.
- Establish strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with objectives and continuous development of the team.
- Integrate with the larger Engineering team to create a high-performing environment.
Required Qualifications (Must-Have):
- A Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree from an ABET-accredited program in engineering, engineering technology, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry.
- At least 5 years of experience in design or manufacturing engineering within aerospace.
- Strong understanding of integrated production systems and engineering best practices in aerospace manufacturing.
- This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Flexible and adaptable to meet diverse and changing demands.
- Experience collaborating with both engineering teams and mechanics on the production floor.
- Familiarity with Velocity and CMES environments.
- Strong data analysis skills with the ability to recommend practical solutions.

Pay Details: $52.87 to $68.76 per hour
