Manufacturing Research and Development Engineer – Aerospace Industry
Location: San Antonio, TX
Schedule: Monday-Friday, First Shift (5 AM - 3 PM)
Job Type: Full-Time (12 months)
Pay Rate: $59.61 - $74.51 per hour

What You’ll DoDefine and approve tools, equipment, materials, and processes for engineering design, manufacturing, and maintenance.
Develop specifications and documentation for tool and equipment deployment.
Ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory standards.
Promote standardization and efficiency across business operations.
Evaluate emerging technologies for potential aerospace applications.
Lead the development and qualification of new tools, materials, and processes.
Integrate cutting-edge technologies into manufacturing processes.
Manage testing and audit programs to qualify suppliers.
Conduct performance analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions.
Design and qualify computer and production systems to meet user needs.
Utilize project management methodologies to achieve cost, technical, and schedule objectives.
Incorporate environmental health, safety, LEAN, and Quality principles into all aspects of materials, processes, research, and design.
What You BringRequired Qualifications:Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry from an accredited institution.
Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience.
At least 1 year of experience in Manufacturing Research and Development related to mechanical/structures assembly, materials, and processes.
3+ years of experience using 3D modeling tools.
Project management experience.
- Strong communication skills and experience engaging with customers.
- Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:Active Security Clearance.
Experience with 3D printing.
Proven ability in rapid solution creation and deployment.
2+ years of technology implementation experience.
Knowledge of electrical installation, teardown, and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with aircraft mechanical/structural buildup and teardown.

Pay Details: $59.61 to $74.51 per hour
