Find your future with us. Boeing Research and Technology is looking for a Mid Level Electronic Packaging Engineer to join our team in Southern California. BR&T collaborates with partners/teammates on a number of cooperative R&D and development projects. This position will involve working closely with partners/teammates to leverage the joint expertise of our partners/teammates to create innovative technologies, capabilities and products. This position will require working up to 50 of the time at partner/team mate work sites who are located in SoCal. In addition, there may be occasional trips to other business locations located outside of California which will require business travel.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- This position requires and active US Secret Security Clearance or higher
- Bachelors, Masters or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
- 3+ years of electronic packaging experience
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience with PCB design
Typical Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
