What you Will Do:
The Military Repair Group provides repair design, program management, tool development, source demonstration, and project engineering support for the full range of Pratt & Whitney military engines.
The Military Repair Integration engineer is responsible for planning, execution and tracking of all F135 Module 4 (source demonstration) activities both domestically and internationally. In this role, you will collaborate with the Program Management Office and Military Repair Council to identify potential sources, audit facilities, and establish production capability.
Direct task execution to meet schedule requirements
Project management of all Source Demo (SD) repairs
Engage with the Repair Council for source selection
Craft schedules associated with SD repairs
Track SD, Proprietary, and Mandated repairs to ensure expedited execution once a Source is identified
Modify Engineering Standard of Work (ESW) in accordance with latest source demo process
Coordinate with F135 Design Managers for proper resource allocation
Engage as necessary with second source selections
Collaborate with Repair Development Engineer (RDE) for SD repairs and engage with Audits as needed
Assist RDEs during SD process to ensure on time task delivery
Communicate status to GSE Military Repair Development and Executive management as required
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering and 5+ years of engineering and/or operations experience OR Masters Degree and 3+ years of engineering and/or operations experience
US Citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contracts

Qualifications We Prefer:
Engine hardware and/or manufacturing experience
Demonstrated organization skills and strong interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Evidence of excellent analytical skills

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
