Job Description:
A temporary vacancy for an open position inside the Industrial Composite Technology Innovation and development team for Central Manufacturing Engineering has arisen within Airbus Operation in Illescas factory. The main objective of the team is to mature new technologies in R&T and to disseminate mature technologies in order to improve legacy & future programs.
RESPONSABILITIES:
The jobholder is responsible for the development and maturation of New Composite Manufacturing Technologies covering the complete manufacturing process (from laying to finishing) up to industrial maturity demonstration at full scale and the following dissemination of these technologies.
The Jobholder is accountable and responsible for:
Planning, steering and reporting Composites Industrial technology R&T activities within the ME Community
Supporting local composite R&T team
Setting up a roadmap to deliver the technological solutions for industrial applications.
Ensuring harmonized ME Principles, best-in-class and up-to-date practices
Delivering mature solutions to product developments
Define & Manage execution of composite technology developments including composite automation & monitoring processes for future CFRP parts.
Organize project progress reviews & generate associated reporting & action plan.
Manage risks inside the projects
Create and deliver documentation committed with CDTI public authorities.
Technical support for reporting towards CDTI
SKILLS:Master Degree in Engineering
Fundamental knowledge on Composite
Project Management Knowledge
Automation & Robotics Knowledge would be plus
Artificial intelligence & data analytics basic skills would be appreciated
Awareness of Composites Assembly processes & technologies would be appreciated
Negotiation level in English
Creative, open mindset, willingness to explore and learn
Team player
Problem solving skills
Strong communication skills and stakeholder management
This role will involve business travels to different plants and suppliers so you must be able to travel accordingly.
