Role Introduction
Reports to: COE Planning Manager Head of Planned Maintenance and Records

Key Responsibilities
Responsible for :
- Ensuring timely creation of the Line Maintenance work packages and are performed and conducted according to the defined maintenance production plan and within agreed capacity and in compliance with the aircraft maintenance requirement in a cost effective way
- Ensuring all open items or issue are reviewed and resolved with MRO satisfactorily to minimize any disruption to the maintenance plan to drive operational efficiency
- Ensuring sufficient maintenance ground slot is secured and the usage is optimize to maximize the availability of aircraft
- Monitoring and controlling compliance with the requirements of all line maintenance task for continued airworthiness by adhering to the process and procedure through regular dashboard or report review.
- Manage data collection and information gathering for effective feedback process and conduct continuous post input performance analysis for future improvement.
- Budget and cost control
- Driving for continuously improvement on planning processes and systems so as to enhance the operational efficiency
- Support the COE Planning routine LM maintenance activities by ensuring package readiness for safe completion as per pre-agreed production plan and optimized ground time using interactive dashboard providing alerts and enable data driven decision.
- Support process improvement by utilizing digital tools and business solution application such as Robotic Process Automation, Cognos, and Microsoft Power platform so as to enhance the operational efficiency.
- Proactively drive digital transformation initiatives to ensure timely implementation in order to achieve expected corresponding cost saving.
Requirements
- Engineering degree or Aircraft Maintenance Licence is preferred
- Typically 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in aspects of aircraft maintenance planning.
- Experience in delivering business process improvement.
Basic skills in Excel, Access Database, Cognos/Business intelligence tools, Microsoft Power Platform - Ability to build strong and effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Good knowledge of Cathay Pacific maintenance and engineering systems preferable
