Role Introduction
Reports to: COE Planning Manager Head of Planned Maintenance and Records

Key Responsibilities
Responsible for:
- Ensuring the continuous compliance of all Line Maintenance packages and requirement are scheduled within the airline-operating schedule in Hong Kong or outstation with minimal commercial disruption.
- Working closely with the Maintenance Repair Organization to ensure workload are well balanced and with the agreed limit to drive the operational efficiency.
- Monitoring of all Line Maintenance activities to ensure safe and timely completion of all maintenance to achieve On-time performance and aircraft availability to support the operation.
- Ensuring regular review of Aircraft seasonal flight schedule for adequate maintenance ground time allocated for Line Maintenance inputs and liaising with Airline Planning to generate slots of Line Maintenance ad hoc maintenance requirements.
- Coordinating with Airline Integrated Operation Centre in managing and dealing with any change to the planned line maintenance task due to any ad hoc flight schedule change or operational disruption.
- Managing data collection and information gathering for effective feedback process.
- Driving for continuous improvement on planning processes and systems to enhance operational efficiency.
- Support process improvement by utilizing digital tools and business solution application such as Robotic Process Automation, Cognos, and Microsoft Power platform so as to enhance the operational efficiency.
- Proactively drive digital transformation initiatives to ensure timely implementation in order to achieve expected corresponding cost saving.
Requirements
- Engineering degree or Aircraft Maintenance Licence is preferred
- Typically 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in aspects of aircraft maintenance planning.
- Experience in delivering business process improvement.
- Basic skills in Excel, Access Database, Cognos/Business intelligence tools, Microsoft Power Platform
- Ability to build strong and effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Good knowledge of Cathay Pacific maintenance and engineering systems preferable
