StandardAero is seeking a motivated, eager, and innovative student looking to join our Performance Engineering Team in Winnipeg MB CA for the 2025 summer term.

Job Duties:
- StandardAero is seeking Engineering students for summer term positions (4 or 8 months) to support StandardAero’s Process Engineering Team and growth projects. This work may include activities as listed below:
Develop expertise in repair processes and provide technical guidance to operations. Processes include but are not limited to: machining, welding, heat treatment, cleaning, thermal spray, plating, inspection, etc.
- Support process equipment installation, commissioning, and testing.
- Perform technical troubleshooting of process equipment.
- Perform technical manual reviews.
- Develop repairs for engine components.
- Write procedures, work instructions, and technical reports.
- Review tooling requirements and implement into the shop.
- Coordinate and implement process improvement initiatives.
- Support quality correction actions and perform root cause analysis.
- Query and analyze production data for trends or
- Other projects as assigned
Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):
- Strong planning, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, decision making, oral and written communication skills.
- Good understanding of basic mechanical engineering and project management principles
- Working knowledge of computers and MS Office experience/knowledge.
- Experience with VBA or Microsoft Query
- Must have completed 1st Year of Engineering studies. Open to 2nd, 3rd, 4th year students.
- Can be a 4 or 8 month term. TBD upon discussion with applicable candidates.
