20 - Work closely with instrumentation sensor suppliers to design, manufacture, and test flight and ground test instrumentation hardware.
20 - Perform instrumentation data analysis in support of rocket engine hot-fire testing and/or component testing.
10 - Participate in engineering process training and other professional development activities.
Pursuing a Bachelors degree in Physics, Engineering, an appropriate discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficiency with MS Office software (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) expected.
May be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level. Requires U.S. Citizenship. Must also be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.
Desired Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of instrumentation/electrical/mechanical engineering support of rocket propulsion systems.
- 6 months to 1 year of related experience preferred, but not required.
- Experience with formal failure analysis techniques
- Experience with Visio, MS Project, and data analysis tools such as ADAMnet and Winplot.
