Essential Responsibilities

You will provide your contribution in the following activities:

  • Prioritize and implement multiple concurrent process improvement projects, alone or as part of a multifunctional team, to drive customer satisfaction and business productivity
  • Analyze production and service limitations, then develop, implement, and evaluate quality assurance process sampling systems, procedures, and statistical techniques to track the progress of improvement efforts
  • Oversee evaluation of test equipment, precision measurements, accuracy measurements, and performance testing
  • Cooperate with Material Review Board to disposition nonconforming material and develop containment and corrective actions through TOPS8D and 5 whys.
  • Cooperate with NPI teams to approve new suppliers of materials/ services used in product realization and qualify their processes; 
  • Cooperate with Sustaining Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering and Sourcing to resolve quality issues related to existing suppliers
  • Conduct training on quality assurance concepts, specifications and monitoring tools
  • Collect, organize, and analize process information and data for the Company and upon customers, supplier requests in order to drive a continuous improvement and Customer focus
  • Specify, develop and accept advanced technology, quality related information and test equipment
  • Demonstrate a proactive attitude towards new product introduction involving new processes or advanced automated equipment and provide a provide a state of the art quality engineering approach
  • Act as consultant with authority when related to the quality standard application and towards each Company representative
  • Inclusive approach to always involve manufacturing and engineering organizations to improve Quality and Manufacturing processes

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Masters or Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering; Materials Science or Physics from an accredited University
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications
  • Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes and provide efficient solutions through a six sigma and Lean approach
  • Multiple task attitude
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization
  • English and Italian fluent
  • EU work permit

  • Ability to communicate effectively and contribute to team project
