Tasks
Your main tasks include, among others:
- Provide technical leadership to jet engine repair teams and help to meet customer requirements. Support the communication, commercial and supply chain aspects of the maintenance activities
- Support the workshop with work instructions, trouble shooting and technical guidance
- Direct and primary contact for production regarding technical challenges
- Support in solution finding
- Support line maintenance, airline support team and engine test trouble shooting
- Define engine repair work-scopes based on customer requirements and internal procedures
- Special assignments i.e. participate in or lead projects
- Liaise with sales, operation center and production
- Provide data and analyzes if required
- Develop change management plans with the key stakeholders

Requirements
The ideal Production Support Engineer must fulfill the following requirements:
- High school diploma/GED required
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering required
- Master’s degree desirable
- 3 years of experience in engineering related field required
- Desired experience is within aircraft engine and/or gas turbine design/maintenance engineering, related fields will be considered
- Fluency in English language required
- German language desirable
- Computer literate as expert
- Excellent analytical skills
- Excellent cost consciousness
- Excellent detail oriented
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent negotiating skills
- Willingness to travel
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Shift work / overtime
- Manage constant time pressure
- Manage high stress levels
- Must possess a legal work permit in Canada
