Key responsibilities include:
• Overall responsibility for implementation and execution of the quality management system for two programs in our Owego, NY, facility as primary QPM for the MFEW – AL (Multi-Function Electronic Warfare Air Large) program and supporting the Syracuse QPM for the TLS (Terrestrial Layer System) product line.
• Perform Contract Review to identify contract quality requirements and ensuring implementation of a Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) on the programs consistent with those requirements.
• Partner with Program Management and Integrated Product Team (IPT) to provide proactive issue identification, causal analysis, mitigation, and preventive action.
• Identify risks and proactively work with the program team to document risks and help to develop and ensure mitigation plans are in place.
• Represent the RMS Quality functional organization at program reviews, program staff meetings, etc.
• Establish and maintain Quality metrics that are utilized by the program team to monitor performance.
• Drive root cause analysis, and corrective actions as required.
• Communicate and escalate quality, customer satisfaction and program performance issues to the program team, functional / program managers and business leaders as necessary for timely resolution.
• Responsible for helping to improve CPAR scores for the Quality scope.
• Ensure realistic QA budgets and staffing are established for the Quality Program Team and cost commitments are met.
• Plan and oversee program audits.
• Must be able to travel to Syracuse, NY, periodically
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree STEM (science, technology, engineering, or math) field of study or equivalent experience
• Previous experience in Quality Engineering and/or related discipline processes
• Understanding of basic Hardware Quality processes
• Understanding of basic Supplier Quality processes
• Interim security clearance required to start
Desired Skills:
• 3+ years of quality engineering experience.
• DoD contract experience.
• Knowledge of LM RMS process and procedures.
• Lean/Six Sigma black (or green) belt certification.
• Formal Process Auditing training and experience.
• Experience in Process and performance measurement: developing, collecting and analyzing metrics.
• Self-starter who is detail oriented, well organized and able to self-prioritize and complete tasks within in a dynamic and demanding environment. Strong interpersonal and conflict management skills working within a diverse environment and across many disciplines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to build and provide briefings and status reports.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $100,400 - $192,500 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $115,500 - $217,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
