Key responsibilities include:
•Overall responsibility for implementation and
execution of the quality management system.
•Partner with Program Management and
Integrated Product Team (IPT) to provide
proactive issue identification, causal analysis,
mitigation, and preventive action.
•Identify risks and proactively work with the
program team to document risks and help to
develop and ensure mitigation plans are in place.
•Represent the RMS Quality functional
organization at program reviews, program staff
meetings, etc.
•Establish and maintain Quality metrics that are
utilized by the program team to monitor
performance.
•Manage and report on Root Cause and
Corrective Action effectively for all areas of
Program / Product execution
•Perform trend analysis and oversee corrective
measures for Quality related metrics; surveil
program metric trends.
•Communicate and escalate quality, customer
satisfaction and program performance issues to
the program team, functional / program
managers and business leaders as necessary for
timely resolution.
•Interface with Customer (including but not
limited to Defense Contracting Management
Agency (DCMA) and / or Contract level Quality
Assurance Representative (QAR) relationships as
well as Navy customers (SP/PMO)
•Responsible for helping to improve CPAR scores
for the Quality scope.
•Ensure realistic QA budgets and staffing are
established for the Quality Program Team and
cost commitments are met.
•Assist in the planning of internal and
subcontractor audits.
•Assist with Navy Audits and tracking to closure.
Basic Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree STEM (science, technology,
engineering, or math) field of study
•Previous experience in Quality Engineering
and/or related discipline processes
•Understanding of basic Hardware Quality
processes
•Understanding of basic Supplier Quality
processes
•Understanding of basic Software Quality
processes
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
•Good written and verbal communication skills.
•Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
•Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment.
•Active DOD Secret Clearance; Must be able to
obtain and maintain a DOD Secret security
clearance, interim security clearance required to
start
Desired Skills:
•Cost Account Management (CAM)
Trained/Experience
•Software, Computer, and/or Electrical
Engineering degree/background.
•Agile Development/Environment Experience
•Basic understanding of Software Languages
(such as C, C++ and Java).
•DoD contract experience.
•Knowledge of LM RMS process and procedures.
•Lean/Six Sigma black (or green) belt
certification.
•Formal Process Auditing training and experience
•Experienced with peer reviews of software
systems or documents.
•Ability to travel to support quality activities as
required.
•Previous quality experience in defense industry
•Previous experiences interfacing with
Government (i.e.. DCMA and PMO
•Experience in Process and performance measurement: developing, collecting and analyzing metrics.
•Self-starter who is detail oriented, well
organized and able to self-prioritize and
complete tasks within in a dynamic and
demanding environment. Strong interpersonal
and conflict management skills working within a
diverse environment and across many
disciplines. Excellent written and verbal
communication skills, able to build and provide
briefings and status reports.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $100,400 - $192,500 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $115,500 - $217,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
