Plans and formulates engineering program and organizes project staff according to requirements. Assigns project personnel to specific phases or aspects of project. Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.
Specific Job Description:
MFC is seeking a Project Engineering Manager for the position leading Apache program CFSR’s around the world supporting USG and International customers. This position will also have an Associate Manager reporting directly to it. The role requires supervision/leadership experience with a broad background in military aviation and avionics maintenance support. Additionally, the responsibilities include coordinating staffing requirements to support unit deployments, field exercises, training, unit readiness, setting unique schedules, work priorities, generating metrics, staff certifications, and resolving conflicts real-time which might impact performance and therefore, our customer. Travel to other locations to conduct site visits and meet military staff as well as perform wellness visits with LM employees will be required. The candidate must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Candidate with Supervision/Leadership experience required with a broad background in military aviation and avionics field service support, and a proven track record of dealing directly with customers. Strong technical background in field support/depot operations skills required to be able to identify and implement new and existing field service support strategies to increase performance to our customers. The candidate must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. Prior military service is preferred. Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training. Must be computer literate, familiar with current Windows based software applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Outlook, and Project).

CFSR Mgr will be required to:
- Have demonstrated excellent Customer interface.
- Have a strong technical background and familiar with Army Maintenance activities/requirements.
- Handle performance reviews, hiring, disciplinary actions, and other personnel related activities.
- Serve as the spokesperson for the organization relating on significant matters relating to the program.
- React quickly under pressure, dealing with a broad customer and Lockheed Martin base.
- Work under long range goals and objectives. Assignments are often self-initiated.
- Make decisions that that affect the financial, employee, or public relations posture of the organization.
- Develops solutions to problems of unusual complexity.
- Interface with Senior Levels of Management and customers.
- Experience working with USG and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers.
- Demonstrated performance executing multiple CFSR Contractor Support contract requirements.
- Demonstrated Full Spectrum Leadership attributes.
- Have demonstrated sustained high performance.
- Being a self-starter w/Initiative and showing attention to detail.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college
- Demonstrated track record of sustained high performance with minimum 10 years of applicable experience
- Demonstrated excellence in communicating with Senior Levels of Management as well as Customers
- Demonstrated Problem-Solving skills and Full Spectrum Leadership attributes
- Ability to obtain Secret Clearance
- Strong interpersonal and communication (both verbal and written) skills and the ability to effectively work within a diverse workforce
- Proficient with software applications (e.g. experience using logistics and sustainment applications)
Desired Skills:
- Prefer minimum of 10-15 years experience working in a military maintenance/field/deployment environment.
- Prior military flight line experience with M-TADS-PNVS and FCR experience preferred.
- Experience with the army supply system.
- Inventory Management and/or CSSA experience.
- AH-64 Armament/Electrical/Avionic Systems Repairer (15Y) MOS.
- Active Secret Clearance

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
