Quality Conformance Engineer

Morson are working with a Areospace and Defence manufacturer to find a Quality Conformance Engineer.

Job description:

A vacancy has arisen for a Quality Configuration and Standards Leader leading deployment of Quality Standards for Plant Quality and supporting constituent Assembly Inspection Reports (CAIR) activities based on the Filton site (Bristol).

Tasks

• Lead the Quality Standards management for standards such as Control Plan, PPV and FOD in Filton Plant.
• Lead the activity of Quality surveillance for ALM projects and other new projects for Filton Plant.
• Support Safety Management System assessment activities for Filton Plant
• Act as Subject Matter Expert in areas such as Control Plan and PPV and represent Filton Plant in the SME fora.
• Ensure completion, update & consistency of all CAIR Chapters throughout the build process.
• Support attestation operational issue investigations to ensure completion and resolution or justification is in place.
• Facilitate and improve CA Conformity & Attestation support team skills.
• Facilitate as the CAIR key user the coordination flow
• Coordinate with the CA conformity & Attestation Support team: The CAIR key user is the information & knowledge focal point of CA conformity & Attestation Support team.

Skills

• The successful candidate will demonstrate the behaviours relevant to the professional operating level.
• Knowledge of Configuration Management processes and CAIR toolset.
• Knowledge of Quality Standards such as Control Plans, PPV, FOD etc.
• Strong Engineering, Manufacturing and Quality Experience.
• Excellence communication skills.
• Advanced English and mathematics level.
• Good level of general IT skills (Including Microsoft Excel, word, google, etc.).
• Good SAP knowledge with ability to interrogate SAP and export reports.
