Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking an full-time Early Career Quality Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for work product quality and continual assessment of manufacturing product and process yield. The successful candidate will have experience and/ or knowledge of utilizing statistical methods and preventive action methods to evaluate and initiate actions to identify and control sources of variation detrimental to quality, cost, and schedule targets. Conduct/coordinate process and product evaluations and assessments. Emphasis will be placed on validation of key process capability. Scope of responsibility also includes; quality and cost data analysis, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive action investigations/ decisions/ validations, variation management actions, supplier quality integration tasks, along with area improvement strategy and planning. Responsible and accountable for delivering effective methods and initiating improvements that will drive and improve overall quality performance reducing area defects and Scrap, Rework, Repair cost to minimum as measured and trended by quality diagnostic measurement system. Will collaborate with various functions to assure compliance and continuous improvement.
Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, Facilities Engineering, or Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering from an accredited university
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

• High energy, self-starting, team player who achieves goals.
• Excellent interpersonal skills needed for collaboration, communication, and presentations.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
